2019 Events Calendar

Thank you for checking our 2018 events calendar! Below is a list of the upcoming events at our winery and offsite!

If you are planning on attending any of our events you are more than welcome to bring a picnic (we will have food available for purchase at some events), but we do not allow any outside alcohol to be consumed at our facility and events.

January 12th-21th : Seneca Lake Wine Trail’s Bargin Bash

Think of Bargain Bash as being like a big, Trail-wide spring cleaning, garage sale where the early bird gets the proverbial worm! Participating wineries take the opportunity to clean out their inventory and drop prices on select items consisting of everything from wine, to wine glasses, clothes and other retail items. This event will be held during each winery’s regular business hours. We will be offering Dry Gewurztraminer, Gewurztraminer (semi-sweet) and Lemberger Pinot Noir 2 bottles for $25 mix and match; Moscato 2 bottles for $22; Tuxedo White (Niagara) case sale save 40%

 

January 25th – 27th: Savory World of Seneca

Wineries will be preparing food from an amazing variety of different nations, with many of them decorating their tasting rooms in the same theme, pairings up samples of their dishes with their delicious wines. Come out and enjoy a self-guided tour around beautiful Seneca Lake, sampling delicious foods and wines at 24 participating wineries. Just check in and pick up your gift item at your chosen starting winery then start sampling dishes paired with delicious award-winning wines.

 

February 9th: Chocolate and Wine

We  are thrilled to bring back one of our most popular events, Chocolate & Wine! Join us and enjoy a self-guided tour around beautiful Seneca Lake, sampling delicious wines paired with chocolate themed dishes a t 26 participating wineries. Just check in and pick up your gift item at your chosen starting winery then start sampling foods paired with delicious award-winning wines.

 

February 23rd  or March 9th: Preferred Pairings

This is the Seneca Lake Wine Trail’s series of more intimate, smaller wine and food pairing events. Partnering with the Finger Lakes Cheese Alliance, Preferred Pairings are a series of two, one day events, February 23rd or March 9th. Ten participating wineries will be matched up with a creamery, offering ticketed attendees 3-4 delicious pairings of regional cheese paired with our members’ wines. This series of events are co-sponsored by the Finger Lakes Cheese Alliance.  Just check in and pick up your gift item at your chosen starting winery then start sampling cheeses paired with delicious award-winning wines.

 

March 22nd – 24th: Pasta & Wine Weekend

We are happy to bring back the Pasta & Wine Weekend again this year! Enjoy a self-guided tour around beautiful Seneca Lake, sampling delicious pasta dishes and wines at 25 participating wineries. Just check in and pick up your gift item at your chosen starting winery then start sampling pasta dishes paired with delicious award-winning wines.

 

 

April 12th – 14th: Spring Wine & Cheese Weekend

This is an incredibly popular event, combining the classic tastes of wine and cheese into one delectable weekend. This event is co-sponsored by our friends at Cabot Creamery Cooperative, makers of the World’s Best Cheddar, and the 600 NY Farm families that own Cabot. It is a self-guided tour around beautiful Seneca Lake visiting 29 unique, participating wineries. Just check in and pick up your gift item at your chosen starting winery then start sampling cheese-themed dishes paired with delicious award-winning wines.

 

 

May 18th: Seneca Lake Wine & Food Festival

This event is held in one location, Clute Park, at the southern tip of Seneca Lake in Watkins Glen and is scheduled for May 18, 2019. Featuring over 200 different wines to sample, with many regional food vendors and other fascinating local businesses, along with other entertainment.

 

 

June 7th – 9th: Smokin’ Summer Kickoff

Come celebrate summer, the many wonderful foods associated with this beautiful time of year, and the fantastic wines that pair with grilled and summertime foods! Start your summer season off with this fun-filled wine and food pairing weekend. Come out and enjoy a self-guided tour around beautiful Seneca Lake, sampling delicious foods and wines at 22 participating wineries. Just check in and pick up your gift item at your chosen starting winery then start sampling dishes paired with delicious award-winning wines.

 

June 29th – 30th: ADK Wine and Food Fest, Lake George

Take your taste buds on an unforgettable journey as you are introduced to over 120 NY State craft beverage producers, local food vendors, and crafters with the beauty of Lake George as your backdrop! The 5th Annual Adirondack Wine & Food Festival is returning to Lake George and you won’t want to miss it! The Festival will showcase some of the best wineries, breweries, distilleries, local artisanal food vendors, and food trucks the region has to offer.

 

July 12th – 14th: Finger Lakes Wine Festival, Watkins Glen

The Finger Lakes Wine Festival offers the largest showcase of New York State wines with over 80 wineries paired with regional artisans, music and culinary classes all in one beautiful location – Watkins Glen International.

 

 

August 3rd: Penguin Bay at Hejamada from 4-5:30 pm
Enjoy a wine tasting at the Campground!! We will be pouring the perfect selection of wines for your to fit the tastes of all area campers. Be sure to join the party and taste the flavor of the Finger Lakes!!

 

 

August 21st – September 2nd: Great New York State Fair

The Fair’s Wine Court has moved back to the Colonnade, the columned area between the Dairy Products and Science and Industry buildings. As always, the area will be filled with many of New York’s best wines, and hard cider from our Sister Winery – Swedish Hill

 

November 22nd-24th: Seneca Lake Wine Trail’s Deck the Halls

Go to your assigned starting winery and begin a weekend of fun and festivities while sampling holiday wines and food tastings. The wineries are decorated for the holiday season. Over the 2-1/2 day weekend event, visit the participating wineries, receive a recipe book and collect ornaments to decorate your handmade grapevine wreath.

 

December 6th-8th: Seneca Lake Wine Trail’s Deck the Halls

Go to your assigned starting winery and begin a weekend of fun and festivities while sampling holiday wines and food tastings. The wineries are decorated for the holiday season. Over the 2-1/2 day weekend event, visit the participating wineries, receive a recipe book and collect ornaments to decorate your handmade grapevine wreath.
